And so for the first time in a long while, He Who Dares Wins clears another instance. Once again proving that we have what it takes to go places. In our final push before Wrath we have managed to overcome our greatest challenge yet, Lady Vashj.

07 September 2008 - We came to rock the house

So with our new raiding schedule we finally get progress back on track. We now have 4/9 down in Black Temple with Bloodboil being next on the agenda. With our last tries ending in 32% his time will soon come. Also I hope I will soon be reporting on the demise of Vashj with our last attempt ending at 11%. Lets keep giving it our all as we approach the final days of TBC.

12 July 2008 - Big Pimpin'

Okay, so the main news here is that we have done two more bosses. So check those out on the progress page.

The other big news, and the one that I personally am most excited about, involves the website.

I'm looking into making some big changes and there will be a whole new section added to the site. This is a pretty big thing and if all goes well, should be a fantasic new addition.

I wont ruin the surprise here, you'll just have to wait and see. Everything is looking to go live sometime soon after the 24th of this month.

First off, well done to everyone who attended last night's raid, the progress of which can be tracked on the prgress page (Duh!). We're doing exceptionally well and I'm looking forward to making more and more progress with you guys.

09 June 2008 - Diving deeper still.

We have T5, check out the progress page to find out how THAT happened!. With a lot our European friends exams over for the time being, signups are really moving along nicely, and the focus shown in raids is getting better and better. So well done to all of you guys, congratulations to those who have done well in exams, commiserations to those who haven't.

On a side note, I have word that Alcadias/Soreal is working on something for the guild. So we look forward to seeing that.

26 May 2008 - Deeper into SSC.

We continue our fantastic success with the slaying of another boss in SSC, and as the summer time rolls around (although with the weather here in England, you wouldn't think it) we have high hopes for the coming future. We have big plans and expect to be taking more and more bosses. Hopefully, if people continue to show enough dedication and effort (and skill) we will be venturing into Mt. Hyjal and the Black Temple, and even as far as The Sunwell before Wrath hits. Time will tell.

So keep up the good work guys, don't lose heart.

09 May 2008 - More boss kills, more videos to enjoy.

Ladies and Gentlemen, He Who Dares Wins has done it. We've got ZA cleared. You can check out all of the information over on the Progress page. As well as check out the screenshots just to prove we arent lieing.

We also welcome all the new members, as well as some old "friends" (hehe) from Esoteric. Looking forward to raiding with you guys.

Now for a very important bit. HWDW is currently recruiting healers of all varieties! So if you are a healer and want to join in on the action, head over to the forums and apply now! Obviously we do have some requirements regarding gear. We need people who have good gear Preferably higher than Kara gear, but of course we will look at and review ALL applications.

27 April 2008 - Loads of progress and even videos!

Since we are at a point now where new members are flocking to our doors for the chance to join our epic raids, I think now is a good time to thank all of our members for their dedication and hard work in making the guild as damn awesome as it is.

Our progress raid leader (Elizibetha) is doing an amazing job in making sure our raids run as smooth as possible, and ensuring that we always achieve our best. Without his dedication I don't think we would have come so far in such a short ammount of time. So a massive thank you is in order to him. (If you see him ingame, make a point of thanking him).

Now... on to the progress.

As you can see, We took down Magtheridon (Head to the progress page to get a run-down). We have also made our first tentative steps into Serpent Shrine Cavern and downed a boss in there, AND, we've even taken another boss down in Zul'Aman.

Our progress knows no limits it seems.

So let's keep going and see where our ventures take us next. I don't think anything can stop us now!

23 March 2008 - News, everyone!

Wow, So much going on lately. Our biggest news however, is that we managed to take Nalorakk and Akil'Zon down before the timers! On top of that, we also took down a new boss! Hooray!

Congratulations must go to Alcadias for getting himself [Trollbane] Woop! Thing's are going swimmingly, and with more and more new faces joining the crowd, we will have no problems what-so-ever when we venture further into 25 mans.

16 March 2008 - Gruul Down!

We've made our first venture into the big bad world of 25 man raids, and when I say this, I of course mean that we have totally owned the so called High King Maulgar and big papa Gronn, Gruul.

After a few attepts at getting the tactics 100% for Maulgar, we proceded to down him with what is turning out to be trademark guild ease.

We have got Karazhan cleared in one night (Didn't take us long at all!) and the first two bosses in ZA are still getting killed, we're striving towards getting them down before timers, so that shouldnt be too far off now.

We have our eyes forwards now, looking forward to the more difficult 25 man instances, as well as the new goodies in 2.4

02 March 2008 - Guild Progression Continues As Planned.

The more members we gain, the more fun we are having. Karazhan has been cleared so many times now with real ease. We're gearing people up steadily and always looking forward to our next goals.

We have made progress in Zul'Aman so check the progress page to find out how we are doing.

We are also planning on setting up 2 Kara raids per week, meaning, signups permitting, we will have 20 people running Kara. We're very close to getting Kara down to cleared in 1 night, after that we will be moving more and more into ZA and we also have plans for Gruul's Lair, so 25 mans should be comming up soon enough.

As always we welcome new applications to the Guild, so slap a signup post in our forums if you are interested. We welcome all classes to apply, however we have more of some classes than others so do not be offended if your application doesnt get accepted for that reason. Also gear is not a HUGE issue, however we do have some basic requirements for gear, so remember that may also affect your chances of being accepted. But it can never hurrt to apply if you are committed person who wants to join a very good up and coming Guild.

Another addition to the guild progress page. We've now done our first full week's worth of Karazhan and the guild is meshing nicely. Good to see all the new members getting along and hopefully having a blast during the raids. Good work guys, keep it up.

Ok, so we now have a working DKP system and a Raid Calendar set up, so members can easily sign up for upcoming raids, and also correctly be awarded DKP. Check the links at the top of the page and also be sure to visit the forums for a quick guide on how to set yourself up correctly.

Welcome to the Official website of <He Who Dares Wins> We are an Alliance guild on Bloodfeather-EU

We are a semi-casual start-up guild with a solid base of good friends who have raided together for a long time. We are currently in the process of recruiting new members to the guild and welcome all applications. Check out our forum for more information on how and where to apply.

At the moment we are only going to be working our way through Karazhan until we feel we have a solid foundation of members that are willing and adequately skilled/geared to begin taking Gruul and eventually TK. There are currently no plans to enter Zul Aman. We have a working Ventrilo server which our guild members are free to use both during and out of raids.
